We are in a position to share our current staffing plan for the upcoming school year. There are a number of staffing changes and class configurations coming to Canyon for the 2024-25 school year, as noted below. Due to our staffing allocation, our current plan includes three Grade 5/6 classrooms for the upcoming year. Combining classes is a two year commitment to ensure curriculum is covered. Please also note we will be combining our Grade 3/4 classrooms.

Mrs. Lorraine Robbins (Grade 2A) has shared her intent to retire at the end of this school year. We thank Mrs. Robbins for her dedication and many years of service to the Canyon Community and wish her all the best in her future.
Miss LaDawn Funk (Grade 2B) has been granted a leave of absence for the upcoming school year. We thank her for her commitment to Canyon students and wish her an amazing journey in the year ahead.
Mrs. Brittany Zoratti (Kindergarten) is expecting and will be on maternity leave. We send congratulations to her and her family as they welcome a new little one to the world.
Mrs. Valerie Marr (Educational Assistant) has shared her intent to retire at the end of this school year. We thank Mrs. Marr for the wonderful support she provided to our students for over 20 years. We wish her all the best for the future.
Miss Alicia Harrison (Educational Assistant) fulfilled a temporary contract that will end June 27, 2024. We thank her for her efforts at Canyon over this last year.
